How do you stay occupied while working as an underground security guard for long hours

It's tough times. In the new gig economy is one that I'm finding it difficult to navigate like I used to before. I did very well in my previous job but I was let go from my dental assistant position. In the present, I have to work night shifts at the local manufacturing plant for machines. The plant is mostly automated, workers work during the day, and night crew only counts me and 2 engineers. I have an emergency phone number to call in the event of an accident or if machinery stops functioning. Next, I call engineers or call an outside number to get more engineers. I don't actually do anything. The thing is, they're not even creating anything valuable here So night time guard is really a glorified switch board attendant..
In any case, it's something I love. It's peaceful. I'm an extremely spooky sleeper. I wake frequently from a gas release during the night. However, here I thrive. It's boring to sleep in the dark and try new things to speed up the process. I've been spending the last two week perfecting the dance I watched on Tik Tok. Although it's not difficult , it's difficult for me to duplicate the dance. It was created by young Tik Tok girl. I don't know how to describe that stuff since I'm an old person..
I've been trying new videos to fix my car in recent months. Although I don't know what to do with my vehicle right away I like watching other people make their cars seem unstoppable. DIY videos can be very instructive and simple to follow. This was when I realized that there was an additional issue. My internet went down shortly enough that I was not capable of viewing any kind of content or access the internet in any other manner. I was able to download Youtube videos, save them on my phone, and I was able watch the videos on my own without access to internet. No matter how you go about it, it doesn’t matter whether you stream the video from an online site, or another place online or download it at home. Then you can play it on your smartphone when you don't have internet access or wifi. It's as simple as using DVR for your online videos and not only TV shows.

To my absolute joy, I was able to download the latest episodes and films to my laptop. My laptop is much more comfortable than my desktop, and comes with better speakers. I signed up for HULU as well as Netflix. Both let you download their apps, and mark the film to download. After the space of a few hours, depending on how long the show is, and what quality settings that you selected, the video will be downloaded to you device, and you'll be able watch it any time even without internet. It's only 15 minutes long , but it will allow me to watch the most recent episode that I missed while on my train ride to work.
You can also find other informative or interesting material at home that you can carry with you when working. This will make your time fly by faster. Youtube's webinars are fantastic. But it's difficult to focus on the message when you're interrupted several times. You'll be able to understand what I'm talking about. Are you aware of the issue I'm talking about?
My son often goes with me on my way to work. It is those days when my spouse has her night shift and it's impossible to not leave for home. Therefore, I bring him along, place him near the screens of my computer, and he falls asleep within a matter of minutes. However, when he awakes, I give him my laptop and a few of those freshly downloaded music videos, and he is watching all those amazing young artists doing their weird stuff on screen He is content, I am happy to continue doing my task via the phone.. It's how we work together more effectively, doing our own thing.. He does seem to enjoy having me around. Perhaps he's tired of staying up all night.
