[Verse 1]
I once knew a Roman, his sir name was Brutus
His primary goal, was expelling the nuisance

Being the noblest one, that the plebeians’ ever seen
He used to work for senators just fulfilling his dreams

A confused sharp mind, at the age of four-ty
Brutz had a dead father and their king was getting keen

Caesar put the throne down, but he was getting closer
And Brutus’ heart simultaneously became colder

He was always close friends, keepin’ it chill with Caesar
But it was his so thought ‘ambition’ what got him eager

He was never fascinated by violence and objects
Cause he understood killing never bought respect

He always had reputation because he speak wise and feel
Soft hearted with servants, would never made them kneel

So the folks he hungout with didn't think he was real
You see me and this fellow have never been equal
I don't project my insecurities on other people

He was dearly respected never to do something illegal
Didn’t feel he had to prove to everyone he was evil

A gentle-minded young man with infinite potential
But thought taking down Caesar was indeed essential

Coincidentally dropped out as Senator, planning out his deed
It was me) who convinced him and he finally agreed
Cause he was sick of Caesar and gave in to his greed

[Verse 2 Cut-out]
Brutus realized that my men were well-guarded
And we wanted to test him, he was still uncharted
Suggesting slaying Caesar to prove he was cold-hearted

So now he had a choice between going back to his life
Or making history with made men, up in the site

His dreams about peace and love made him agree
A heroic Roman is all he ever wanted to be
And so he met us, Ides of March at a quarter to three

[Hook]
Everyone tryin’ to succeed never face the consequences
Sometimes we act wrong, without using our senses

Ask a person being punished if he had another chance
But then again there's always the Soothsayer who warned us in advance

Dance forever with the devil, deserved for being a gawk
But that's what happens when you lie , murder and give up

Devils used to be god’s angels that fell from the top
There's no diversity because we're burning in the melting pot

[Verse 3]
We strolled through the Capitol slow while it was raining
Getting ready, chugging wine and joking for entertainment

Until we saw great Caesar on the street walking alone
Three in the morning, coming back from Anthony's, on his way home

And so we quietly got off our horses and followed him
Walking past the pulpit, the darkness swallowed him

Wrapped my toga around his head and knocked him onto the floor
“This is it Brutz, now you get your chance to roar.”

So Brutus threw him up, grabbed Caesar by his wear
And dragged him into a hall that had nobody there
He struggled hard but then forced him to go up the stairs

We got to the roof and then held him down on the ground
Screaming, "Let our hands speak and stop moving around!"

By doing this we didn’t know what wars we’d started
Kicked him until we cracked his ribs, thought he departed

Blood leaking through the robe, he cried silently
And then we all proceeded to stab him violently

Brutus was made to go last, but each of us took a turn
Ripping him up, and jabbing him until his wounds burned
His broken jaw mumbled for Zeus but we weren’t concerned

When they were done and Caesar was lying bloody, broken and floored
That’s when Cato pulled out a brand new sword

We told him that he was a witness for what he'd gone through
And if Brutus killed him he was guaranteed a spot in the crew

He thought about it for a minute, Caesar was practically dead
And so he leaned over and put the sword right to his head

[Hook]
Everyone tryin’ to succeed never face the consequences
Sometimes we act wrong, without using our senses

Ask a person being punished if he had another chance
But then again there's always those omens that showed us in advance

Dance forever with the devil, deserved for being a gawk
But that's what happens when you lie , murder and give up

Devils used to be god’s angels that fell from the top
There's no diversity, in the end we’re all in the same box.

[Verse 4]
Right before he nailed his friend and ended his life
He thought about the new Rome with the harmony and splice

Brutus felt strong standing along with his new brothers
Edged the blade to his head, and pulled back the cloth cover

But what he realized made him start to see the bitter end
'Cause he was staring into the eyes of his best friend

He looked back at Brutus and cried, 'cause he had forsaken him
He cried more painfully, realized he had mistaken him

Brutus’ whole world stopped, he couldn't even contemplate
His corruption had successfully changed his fate
“Et tu, Bruté?” their memories started to predate

Trying hard for nothing, 'cause now what was he worth?
He turned away from the man that’d once brought him forth

And crying out to the sky 'cause he was lonely and scared
But only the devil responded, 'cause god wasn't there

And right then he knew what it was to be empty and cold
And so he ran into his sword and died with no soul

They say death takes you to a better place but I doubt it
After that we killed Caesar, and wars broke out about it

And listen 'cause the story that I'm telling is true
'Cause I was there with Junius Brutus and I killed his friend too

And now his ghost follows me everywhere that I go
In fact, I'm sure he's standing among one of you, you never know

And now every street falls under Octavius’ throne
Brutus had a good intention, wasn’t doing it for his own

The devil grows inside the hearts of the selfish and wicked
Roman, Greek, king and slave, that is not restricted
You’ll have a blind-destructing end when you're inflicted

And you'll be one of god's angels that fell from the top
There's no diversity because we’re burning in the melting pot

So when the devil wants to dance with you, you better say never
Because a dance with the devil might last you forever
