I checked out the Suzhou Museum on Dec 3. The gallery is developed by I.M. Pei, and we had the honor to attend a behind the scene scenic tour conducted by Bobbie Pei. Bobbie was so kind to discuss the style philosophy of his uncle. That trip was one of the highlight of the journey.
My Ideas
This is a wonderful gallery. The gallery itself is a piece of art. Although I don't such as the administration of the gallery-- they really did not bring life right into the design, and particularly the open-ended Li Lan Qing's personal event of stamps there made it look amusing, I love the gallery itself.
The geometry thinking in the gallery made me really feel that I remain in a globe of pure lines as well as triangles, squares, and also proportion.
