This is my cover story. I love Spotify. However, they don't provide enough music from countries outside the US. Amazon Music and Apple/Itunes are excellent however, they do not always have new music until old ones are too outdated. I like di.fm (and similar online streaming radio channels) however, they seldom offer new, cool tunes. The music is also available in one hour intervals. It's great when you want to party, get tunneled or throwdown.

Youtube is my primary source for music. Youtube is the one website where you can get music from all countries, from all cultures and backgrounds. The songs appear there almost immediately after they have been broadcast on radios. Not only do labels upload music on Youtube, but everyone can listen to new songs from the radio and take a recording, save them as videos and upload it to youtube. You can even record yourself singing the song and then share it on YouTube. Some of these shares reach millions of people, whereas others are not seen by copyright services.
That means that any track, old or new it can be found with a wide variety of copies on Youtube, from high quality to poor quality, or even by drunken viewers watching the video. All is fine as long as you are able to enjoy the music. Therefore, I look for the appropriate tracks and then find excellent copies. I don't need to pay anything for music since a few years ago. I like the fact that you can find sound from the 80s through dance hits of 2000s, songs from 90s to the 90s - everything's available on Youtube. Sometimes, I see videos that say "This and this decided not to let you listen to this song".. I don't care about this and go to Flvto or Y2mate to look for mp3s.
How do I work it? I type in my search phrase and it will return 220 results. After clicking on any of them, I have the option to choose to download an mp4 file, or convert a Youtube video to MP3. It's quick and doesn't need any technical knowledge. I have access to all my music through Youtube and listen to it at home. It isn't a problem how the videos are treated. Also, I have copies of time-shifted videos on my computer ready for me at any time I require these. It's incredible! It allows me not to be limited by Youtube for my "country" and therefore music from Europe and Africa can be played without problems.
