hinduism is a religon that was originally started in india. although they dont have have specific founder it is said that the religion expanded b a group of people called dharama. islam and hinduism are the second and third largest religion in the world. they are diffrent in many ways. one of them being their practices. in hinduism they meditate, yoga, and give offerings vin the temple. in islam they have the 5 pillars (pray 5 times a day, fast during ramadan, charity to the poor, and pillgramage to hajj0, another diffrence betweenthe two religions is that hinduism is a polyetristic religion and islam is a monotheustic religion. both the religions have many diffrences but they also have similarites. one similarite they have is that they belive if you remeber and recite the names of god it creates inner purification. another similarity they both have in common is that they are against violence and belive that it is not right. (fun fact in hinduism they have over gods).
