Coalition of Mothers Against Censorship is back in action. After the unrest in the summer of 2020, the majority of those affected were mothers. As their children and their parents protested for different reasons, mothers were left at home waiting, anxiously looking forward to the day their children need medical attention. Did you know that the police officers can play popular music while being recorded to trigger copyright mechanisms when the video is uploaded to Youtube as well as other sites that respect digital rights. Another tactic is pushing the evidence away and long-running practices of ignoring the outspoken sources that give accurate and honest reports of what's happening in the local and global arena. Videos on YouTube and Twitter uploaded to social media websites like Twitter and Facebook can be taken down due to fake copyright claims. CoMAC may have to monitor uploaders in order to ensure that evidence is not censored. Moms band together their strength and emotional support and give their support to their extended families across the country. We need to rise up and stop trying to get rid of evidence showing the brutality of government employees toward those who are not located.

Mothers are those who end up being on the frontline of issues simply because they love their children, who bring home all the smoke from the frontlines. This is not how children believe they can remain in peace. Let us take control of what is happening around us. Only through personal accountability and a stronger oversight by the government will we be able to thrive as a whole and solve our issues with grace and the conviction of just intentions.
