Youtube is constantly promoting advertisements on my child's YouTube channel as they are watching baby-related videos like baby shark or other channels similar to it.

This has been my concern over the last two months, since I started giving my baby girl a tablet that has all the Youtube channels that are specifically created for babies. The channels are believed to aid babies in their development in cognitive, social and other areas and also help their mental and social development. Sure, I clearly see my daughter enjoying the videos. Her eyes sparkle, giggles ready and waiting to be released from her lips. I am awestruck watching her entertain herself. However, I'm not able to understand all the commercials. My child isn't buying anything therefore why are you pushing ads, often not even baby-like on my baby's YouTube channel?

Firstof all, babies aren't capable of comprehending commercials. It's both a waste of money as well as a waste of time. This commercial (video) is only one instance of a waste. read about it They're babies who don't know! It's not possible to claim that they understand so why insist on showing them those advertisements? Do you think when mother and father, or other baby-sitters are watching, they'll benefit as well from the advertisements? It's becoming frustrating for me.

The cat videos are identical. My cat is a fan of these incredible cat videos. It's usually mice or birds, however, my cat is enthralled by the fact that they don't wander for long periods of time. Do they hunt? I believe so. The ads keep interrupting these videos. And who are they trying to get? My cat isn't a consumer of anything but these videos. The ads aren't important to her. Maybe they're hoping that my cat will be watching them? They may be partially right, but I find myself more interested in the stupid videos for cats than doing anything useful.

This is why I've discovered the perfect solution I've been using for a while. It involves downloading Youtube videos onto my laptop, or my daughter's tablet, and then playing them on the tablet. You'll get the idea. I discovered this website which allows me to save videos on my computer instead of accessing it via Youtube each time my cat is looking for birds. And so now I just double-click this MP4 file to my desktop. It then plays in VLC immediately, without commercials, goes directly to the entertainment of my cat.


Similar process applies to the videos of babies and videos on video channels. Find the videos my daughter loves and download them to my computer, and then copy them onto my table. Sometimes, it's only 1-2 songs. If the videos are large I transfer them onto her tablet. But it's easier to access this site directly from my computer. Or maybe that is only me being the old-fashioned person that I am...

This was a great way to save mobile data. Before downloading videos from Youtube I had no idea how to save my mobile data.
