Are news sites that promote conservative values Legitimate?

Up until recently, it was hard to know the conservative media outlets that were authentic. best conservative news sites to tell what reliable sources are trustworthy because media bias and politics have a lot in common. For instance, in the U.S., the two main parties are divided largely due to their opinions on various issues. News from today's conservatives is based upon the views of politicians, journalists and columnists. The strategy is typically for sabotaging the opposition or to attack the government in power. This could influence the decision but it could also harm an organization's image.



Political blogs are becoming more relevant in the 21st Century. Michelle Malkin's Captain Quarters, a conservative news outlet, and The Federalist are two popular examples. These websites covered scandals including the Memogate scandal and also criticized the war record of President Kerry. The two websites were both part of the 2004 presidential election. they managed to get around a gag order by the press and help the Bush campaign gain victory. Although the coverage by media outlets of these events is often distorted in the media of mainstream, they are still valuable.



Despite the media's popularity it is not clear that conservative news outlets have less credibility than the left and liberal media. They tend to be overtly political and may even be based on a different notion of ethical journalistic standards. In a study by the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society the researchers discovered that right-wing media tends to be more self-referential than liberal media. They're more likely to collaborate with mainstream journalists as opposed to liberal journalists.
