Langley Rams (formerly The South Surrey Rams and Big Kahuna Rams) are an Canadian Junior Football team based in Langley, British Columbia. The Rams participate in the B.C. Football Conference, which is comprised of six teams. B.C. Football Conference, which itself is part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) and is a regular contender to win the national championship, also called"the" Canadian Bowl.
The Rams were formed in 1948. They were situated in Surrey and were known in the form of the Surrey Rams and later the South Surrey Rams when the club temporarily moved into South Surrey. In 2006 the team was named as the Big Kahuna Rams after a contract for sponsorship was signed in 2006 with Big Kahuna Sport Company. On the 5th of December in 2010, the team officially rebranded to the public as Langley Rams as the team relocated into Langley to play at McLeod Athletic Park Stadium.
The Langley Rams made it to the Canadian CJFL Championship against the Saskatoon Hilltops in 2012. The game, played on the 10th of November ended with 23 Hilltops in 21 Rams and gave them Hilltops their third consecutive Championship.
