Di awal tahun 2022 Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) telah merilis angka Indeks kebahagiaan tahun 2021. Survei Pengukuran Tingkat Kebahagiaan (SPTK) ini telah dilakukan sejak tahun 2014.
Untuk tahun 2021 SPTK dilakukan dengan survei terhadap 75.000 rumah tangga di kabupaten/kota seluruh provinsi di Indonesia. Beberapa provinsi mengalami peningkatan dalam indeks kebahagiaan, dan ada beberapa juga mengalami penurunan seperti DKI Jakarta, Banten, Yogyakarta, Bali dan Nusa Tenggara Barat.
Berita Maluku Hari Ini, maluku, kebiasaan orang maluku, bahasa daerah maluku, kebiasaan org maluku, Berita Maluku Terkini posisi 3 teratas dalam indeks kebahagiaan tertinggi yaitu :
Maluku Utara (76,34)
Kalimantan Utara (76,33)
Maluku (76,28)
Uniknya pada tahun 2020 Maluku termasuk dalam 5 provinsi dengan angka kemiskinan tertinggi. Tetapi dengan kehidupan sosial budaya yang tetap terjaga, dan juga di dukung dengan keindahan alam yang terhampar di setiap sudut daerah, menjadi salah satu faktor indeks kebahagiaan provinsi Maluku terbilang meningkat.
