Hello thorn, I am here to apply to become a local moderator for the Off-Topic forum.
Before I get my app underway, let me introduce my self. Hello, I am sledgren. My real name is Cameron. I am 15 and live in a busy city in Canada.
OK, so why I think I am needed to be a local moderator. Well, I post a lot. And I check that forum the most as it has fun non serious discussion (Off-Topic).
Why I think I am worthy for the job? Well, as I just said I check the forums a lot. Average around 5 posts per day and most of those are in my clan discussion thread. ( Leader of the clan The Bomb Squad) as well as in the Off-Topic forum. Now I check it a lot, and I tend to read a little more than I post. Such as right now I frequently read the showering at the gym thread. Not really posting, just reading. Same with the rest of the threads, but I am really interested in that one at the moment. Getting to the point, I am reading the threads and checking the Off-Topic forum a lot, why not help out and take a load off the super moderator's shoulders in there. So I would love to help those guys out, like Gynx who I see closing threads in there, and posting too. I would love to do that too, and think I am capable of it.
Well there isn't much more to say. Hope you consider my application. Just to help you out, I thought I would add a rough time table of what a normal school day would look like forum wise.
7:00 am
wake up, check the forums for around 15-20 minutes
8:00 am - 3:00 pm
School time. Would check forums 1-3 times during the day. On the school computers or on my phone.
3: 30 pm (needed space or else emoticon face shows)
Get home from school, check forums for around 20-30 minutes.
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Homework, chores, dinner. Would check 1-2 times for 10 minutes each.
8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Would be on pretty much all throughout this time.
That would be a normal school day for me.
