Dear Diary

Today was another. But today I felt sadder than ever. I don't know why I felt like this. I felt like something terrible was going to happen. I didnt want to feel like that so I decided to play with my younger siblings. My older sister Lyla died in a war when we went to visit Syria. We orgaianlly come from Syria but moved because it was to poor to live there because we had a family of 8. My mum my dad my sister me and and 4 younger siblings. Not we only have 7 because Layla death. We were moving to Syria to help out family. We lived with my grandma for 2 days in Syria until a bomb dropped on the mud house a few houses away. My sister Layla saw her friend and went to save her. When we heard a gunshot and no sign of Layla until we looked down onto the road, We are kind of Refugees. We were living in Syria for 2 days. This is my story of being a refugee. My grandma sold her house in Syria and received £2k. She gave that money to our family to help us escape Syria. Firstly we had a mission to go to the shop and get water bottles. It would save us a bit of money because the shop got bombed so we could enter the trampled building. We could bring all 7 of us so my mum dad went. They brought to big hyping backpacks to fill with supplies. Whilst they went to collect supplies I thought about what could of happened to my grandma. The last word she said to us was "Youll need this". That was when she gave us £2000. That was before war. It was like she knew the war was going to happen. Half a hour later my mum and dad returned from the shops. My mum handed three baby carriers. my mum handed me one. I carried my youngest sibling. Jasmine. She was the lightest of them so it would be easier for me to run then having alex my brother or leo the second youngest. We had to walk for 9000 miles through a deasert with no water. It taked a week to walked through the dessert. We were allowed one bottle a day. We got really thirsty but I knew it was for the best. We finally reached a ocean. But the water was darker than I thought. It didnt matter. We refilled all the water bottles to keep us energized. we had 2 breads every day when we were walking. Jasmine was getting a bit heavy for me. There was a small sail boat filled with people. My mum sorted us into a single file. She said just follow me. The line was smaller because I was carrying Jasmine my mum was carring Leo and Dad was carrying Alex and my oldest sibling was 10 he was Dave. He was walking in front of me we all holded eachothers shoulder but my dad in front was guiding the way. 3 hours later we got on the boat and was giving a small basket with 3 breads 5 water bottles and 6 apples we could barley move. Everywere we looked somebody would be standing. I got Claustrophobic and anxienty. I heard screams and I turned to looked on the side of the boat were I say a pair of hand hanging on the boat. The hands were red like a tomato. I leaned other the boat to see Dave hanging of the boat. I shouted dave. I pulled some rope from the floor and told im to grab on to it. He slowly took one hand of the boat and grabbed on. His other hand slipped of the boat. I screamed DAVE. I saw. As I saw a fin in the sea getting larger and closer to dave. It disseperd ad dave screamed in pain. I pulled nthe .rope using all my strength and fell on the boat with Dave laying beside me. I shouted my mum as she came running. Dave foot was covered in blood. I couldn't see his foot. I pulled out the small tiusee in the food basket. I wiped blood but could see a foot. I looked over the bost to see a red liquid floating in the ocean. it toulk us 3 months toi reach our destentaiton. Me and my mum were scarfs on our hair. Dad took of alx from the carrier and made a carrier on this back using the scarfs he but the carrier back on and mum sorted us in to a single file again. We walked of the boat as we saw a lorry park near us a boy ran there and went underneath the lorry and grabbed on to the lorry. We could see him under there. We walked another 7 miles to reach a large building and enter there. I was spine chilled. We got sent into a room with a lady named Priti Pratel. She allowed us into the country. We got given a 3 bedroom house in the anglessy in Rhosneigr near a beach. We lived there and had a happy life. I wont be needing a diary because there will only be happy meomries.
