Hi, Mia!

Studying abroad has always been something I thought about before I chose the university where I will study. I knew in high school that I would want to go abroad for a semester to study. Almost all universities here are involved in Erasmus programme, which operates within the European Union and some other countries. It is a programme that offers student exchanges for one or two semesters to any country covered by the program. To qualify for the trip, you don't need to have any good grades, people who go are of course given a free place in the dormitory, but also cash in the amount of several hundred euros per month. Thanks to that people from different countries, from different social classes are able to integrate without worrying about money. I've heard Prague and Budapest are great cities to study but my main focus was always on Italy as this is the country I've always been interested in when it comes to traveling. Their history is one of the richest and most fascinating, old architecture magnificent, language pleasant to hear, food delicious known by everyone in this world, perfect opportunity to see the country.


The university I've chosen have an additional offer to go to China for one semester. When I found out about it, I knew it would be my main destination,
exploring such a distant place, far away from home makes it so intriguing.

No wonder you were afraid to speak in a foreign language. Kids can be savage sometimes and if they started giggling you could be traumatized :/
Have you had situations in your life when you could use English? Maybe at the university? Since I live in a small town, I can only speak English with myself 😆

Unfortunately, insulting individuals in online games happens on a daily basis, I haven't heard anyone insult someone's country for a long time though. What surprises me the most is that it was a girl who talked shit, I thought girls stick together as they experience many rude comments, she certainly knows how often and nasty it is when someone insults her because of her sex or other things. All it takes for people is a screen for people to let their frustration go on innocent people

People can behave cruelly in anger, of course this is not an excuse for such behaviour, but it is normal to feel this emotion. I would be more worried if you didn't feel that, then I would be sure that I am writing with a robot 😄

I don't know why, but thing that is particularly occurs on the internet is that racism is only talked about in relation to black people, while in the direction of Asians there are many more such comments in recent times. Nor does the stupidity of people who throw everyone into the same bag and cannot distinguish between the Chinese government and ordinary people help. I wonder what happened to these people in life that they are so saturated with hatred

I think the world is going in the right direction. Young folks are becoming more tolerant and open to new people. With the development of the Internet, people can finally find answers to the questions about other cultures and learn their point of view. Fear of the unknown will hopefully sink into oblivion and all the prejudices will be gone.
