İstanbul Kadıköy Bayezid Camii'sinde akşam saatlerinde kimsenin beklemediği bir eylem yaşandı. Bir grup eylemci emniyet güçlerine karşın slogan attı ve yönetimi istifaya çağırdı. Bu olayların yaşandığı sıra gazeteci zorla rehin alındı ve yayına zorlandı. Bunun üzerine Emniyet ekipleri olaya müdahele etti ve eylemin elebaşı olduğu tahmin edilen birkaç kişi gözaltına alındı. İstanbul Emniyet Müdürü Uğur Kurtuluş olay hakkında basın açıklaması yaptı.
Uğur Kurtuluş:Bizi sevenide sevmeyinde severiz.İyiler hiçbir zaman sevilmez. Demekki zamanında iyi kavurmuşuz.
Yasin Tokyay: Neden kalabalığa karşı tazyikli suyla güç uyguladınız şimdi daha fazla sinirlenip geri gelecekler.
Uğur Kurtuluş:Ne yapsaydık gülmü atsaydık? , Sinirli bir topluluğa karşın ne yazıkki istemediğimiz bir yönteme başvurmak zorunda kaldık. Buda Emniyet'in gerektirdiği disiplinlerden birtanesi.
