maybe it was simple but made it too complicated than that was needed to understand the underlying general principles.

I could have used many simpler method but these would not capture the theory and would not be generalizable to understand the underlying properties of this strategic game.

I learnt about vectors and solving intersecting lines but had to transfer this knowledge to matrices, I learnt about properties of curves and how to optimize a function with respect to one variable but needed to extend this to multiple variables.

Refer back to personal motivation and how my intuition was right, don't play the new strategy because it is often an overpowered strategy that will dominate others which means it will be played less frequently.

My conjecture would have been hard to find intuitively on a 6x6 game, intuition has its limits DISCOVERY.
