When I'm at School

There are things I like to do

When I'm at school sometimes.

They are a little bit silly

But they're not really crimes.


One day while sitting in class

I thought I'd taste the glue.

So I ate some not knowing

It's not the thing to do.


I have some milk at recess

But it always dribbles on my clothes.

For I drink it standing on my head

And it bubbles out my nose.


I like to dance when it rains

I jump and splash and yell.

But the teachers say my soggy clothes

Are damp and start to smell.


I sometimes laugh at teachers

For no reason at all.

"That's not funny!" they always say

And make me stand against the wall.


One day I brought my pet frog to class

And hid him in a safe place.

I didn't know he'd escaped

Until he jumped on Grace's face.


I decided to have a little nap

When I was tired and bored.

I would have got away with it

If I hadn't snored.


I get into trouble every day

Of that there's little doubt.

But keep it to yourself

I don't want my parents finding out.
