You and I have been best friends since this age of 6, always being by each others side, especially when we were causing trouble. It's now our senior year and we are still as close as ever. I'm on a cheer team that travels around the world, performing in showcases and competitions, while you are on our high school football team, being the star player. When I'm able to cheer for our school team I'm captain, but when I'm gone its a girl named Miranda, who is also your girlfriend. Her and I don't exactly get along, we had always competed for cheer captain, and she was jealous when I got the spot on the international team. I've been gone for about two weeks, my team having a trip in Australia with showcases and competitions everyday. I came back today to surprise you at your football game. I stand on the sidelines, in a place where I knew you wouldn't see me. It's the last 10 seconds and we are down, I cover my face as the last play starts, our team having the ball. I don't look, not really having to, as our team cheers for the touchdown and the game ending. I uncover my face, seeing people run out on the field. I look over to see if anyone is around you, knowing this would be the only time to talk to you for the night, but when I look over I see Miranda in your arms, her lips against yours. I shake my head and turn around to leave, but one of your teammates sees me, picks me up and places me on his shoulders. "Austin!" I scream laughing, grabbing his hands so I don't fall.
