one thing I noticed with the instructor is constant change in timing, as I'm writing this its 2:18 pm, I was told my midterm was at 2 pm but she quickly changed the timing to 2:30 only to delete that and post a new announcement saying it's at 2:05. All this flip-flopping is unprofessional and impractical, There hasn't been any obvious concern for other students who have multiple lectures, tests, quizzes, or assignments.

This pandemic put instructors in a position that allows them to show their true effort and hard work, maybe some courses are more difficult than others in terms of teaching and explaining to students because intro to comp is -in simple words- substanceless. I would love to see the whole syllabus change to something more meaningful and useful for the average college studnet. Programs like Microsoft Excel, Project, Database, Onenote, and then you have Adobe programs that could also be integrated in this course. Perhaps have two separate courses that cater to different majors in the university and give them a head start on their studies.

There are several chapters in this course that can be omitted without losing any quality, in fact, removing those chapters makes room for other topics that are more vital for the average college student which in turn ADDS more value and quality to the course. To get more detailed, topics like inputs and outputs are extremely outdated and are basic common knowledge, by omitting it you have cleared a whole lot of 3 chapters right then and there. troubleshooting could be added although I dont think students would enjoy that.

the assignments were testing the knowledge the students gained so I think thats the most part I liked about this course. Then again, it's an intro to comp course there's really nothing much to say about it. :/
