Doc 2- Author: Ferdinand II a Spanish monarch, in a speech to Amerindians after conquistadors discovered an Amerindian tribe, in 1513. Talks about how Spain represents God and that all who do not convert to Christianity or follow Spain will be executed with the power of God. Supports GOD and GLORY
Doc 3- Author: Albrect Durer, German painter in 1520. Talks about the beautiful golden and silver treasures of the Aztec people and that their art was ingenius. Supports GOLD
Doc 4- Author: Father Bernardino de Sahagun, a missionary who learned Aztec language. Excerpt from book The General History of the Things of New Spain, written sometime from 1519 to 1540. Supports GOLD and GOD.

Doc 6- Author: Bartolome de las Casas, a Spanish missionary to Hispaniola, in 1542 wrote A Short Account of the Destruction of the Indies, audience: Philip II of Spain. Talks about murdering and pillaging Amerindians for gold and sending them to Hell. Supports GOLD and GOD.
Doc 7- Author: US Geological Survey on silver production in the Americas in 2001 and historical silver mining output. Talks about how before conquest and discovery of America, silver mining output was around 50% lower than after the Spaniards and Europeans began imperialism and inquisitions. Supports GOLD.
