Overall I think I have gradually managed to get back into a routine and am doing better with the novel - the current problem being a block in the structure and once I have solved that I think I can speedily get back to the writing process.
Choir resumed amidst another crisis. This time with a new (baritone) member, who has managed to offend everybody. It looked like I might be getting involved through the language group, but luckily he changed his mind and decided not to join.
I went into the yiddish group on Thursday, and we have a good session (with lots of talk about the corona virus) after which I popped in to see Steffi. She's not panicking too much about the plague but is aware that it could put the mockers on her 80th birthday bash in a couple of weeks. On the way back, Stuart got onto my train at St Pancras, which improved the otherwise incredibly slow journey. Then we saw him again on Saturday at Viki's group (the Mollies) at a pub in Hanover. A loud and lively evening - very good atmosphere - bumped into several people from work - Corinne, Lucy and Will and Elli and Roger. The world has gone beserk over the Corona Virus.
