This is the first video of my Series about HOARDING.
This one will be about "What is hoarding?
Why do hoarded items rise?"
Let's start.
Basically hoarding is making items rise by buying multiple of them.
If you ask to someone who doesn’t know much about hoarding "Why do hoarded items rise?" They will probably say: ‘hoarded items rise because there will be less sellers after the hoard is complete therefore the item becomes more rare so it rises’.
That's right, but there's something more important.
COMMUNITY.
If the community doesn’t believe that you can make it rise, it does not rise.
Even if you get most of an item, you can't make it rise unless the community believe that you can make it rise.
Because, if the community thinks that the item you’re hoarding will rise, owners of that item will keep it and others will try to buy it to sell it to gain profit. So people will keep offering higher and higher for the hoarded item.
This is what we call a item that is rising.
If the sellers and buyers don't believe you, owners will keep selling the item at the regular price and there won’t be any new buyers attempting to profit so the item will remain stable.
The first item I hoarded was Cthulhu wings which was unsuccessful.
I had 9 of them. If I buy 9 Cthulhu wings right now, it will become more expensive.
But there were some known players who used their influence to discourage people from buying Cthulhu Wings.
They were saying that: "the Cthulhu wings look ugly because of the colour " or "It is just a green version of dragon wings" to prevent it from rising.
