In the story the animals were effected by the setting because when Scar takes over he did not treat the land well he killed the circle of life.The animals that were in the jungle need the circle of life and a heathy setting to live there.So since the setting was not healthy the animals were forced to leave there homes.
So while Scar was king this baboon went out to find Simba,and when he did SImba grew up into a huge lion since he was a baby over the years. The baboon brought Simba to Scar to avenge Mufasa's death and when he did Simba became king. While he was king he revived the circle of life so the animals can come back to there homes. when every thing was back to normal Simba finally ruled the land he wished for after all.
