Riverfront Theatre Company is a youth theatre company for young people in Windsor and Essex County between the ages of 6 and 18. We are entering our 17th season. Riverfront is a charitable organization - a subsidiary of The Youth Connection Association for Academic Excellence. There is no cost to register. We pay for our scripts and t-shirts, and we hold fundraisers throughout the year. We also seek community sponsorship. We rehearse from September to May in South Windsor, and perform two or three times a year. Our Juniors rehearse on Saturday mornings. Juniors are in grade 1 to grade 5. Our Seniors rehearse from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Seniors are in grades 6-12. Our directorial team and all our crew members are all volunteers - teachers, former students, College and University students and interns, and devoted parents. We call ourselves the Penguins - because of the penguin huddle. We make sure that no one is left out in the cold - we’re all about being a strong team. At Riverfront, we communicate, connect, make friends and make awesome productions. We are hoping to return to the stage in November with Beauty and the Beast. In February, we have a new original show to stage, called No Complaints. And we have a musical version of The Secret Garden scheduled for May 2021!
