DirectX9 issue for Windows 10 users solved!

I'm not computer savvy, so I'll try my best to explain this for people like myself that considered putting a gun to their head after trying to resolve this issue for HOURS.

For those of you running on Windows 10, you most likely won't receive the file "dxwebsetup" to download DirectX as shown in the video. This is because on a newer computer, you already have a superior version of DirectX, so your computer sees no need to download it. So for that part of the video between 3:21-3:36, you can just skip that step entirely.

However, instead of moving onto the next step of trying to right-click and choosing "Run as administrator", instead you'll want to right click the game icon and select "Properties". Where it shows the file name, you'll see it ends in .exe" (with the quotation mark). After the quotation mark, hit space and then type -w

Doing this little change to the file name will automatically make the game run in Windowed Mode. Attempting to run the game as an administrator without doing this step will give you the error message about DirectX9c. After applying the changes, it may say you need permission from the administrator to make changes. Hit "accept" or "allow" or whatever prompt you're given and close the window. Now follow the rest of the video as instructed. Right-click the game icon and choose "Run as administrator". Hopefully, the game should work now.
