We understand that you are facing an issue with your product 'Redmi 8A Dual (Sea Blue, 64 GB)' with the order ID 'OD119167333428285000'.

We are sorry that it's taken us longer than expected to respond to your email due to high contact volume we're experiencing at the moment and this is not something we would want our valuable customer to go through.

As you are one of our valuable customer your satisfaction is one of our primary concern.

We request you to follow the below given troubleshooting steps:

* Slow charging basic checks

- Use only the brand approved charger, charging cable and the adaptor
- Make sure that there's no physical damage on the charger, charging cable, adaptor or the charging port on the device
- Your device will charge faster if plugged into a wall socket, than if it is plugged into another device such as a power bank, laptop or a desktop computer
- For a faster-charging, it's recommended not to use the phone while charging

* Check for an OTA update

** System Updates are actually very necessary for your device. They mostly provide Bug fixes & Security Update Patches, improves system stability and also some times UI improvements.

(Things to remember before the update:)

- Make sure you are connected to WiFi. (If Wi-Fi is the issue, then you may have to use the mobile data)
- Make sure the battery is charged above 50% or is connected to the charger during the update
- Backup any important data, if required.

Click on the URLs in each step to view the screenshot

- Open Settings
- Tap About phone
- Tap System update
- Tap Check for updates
- If available, tap update to start downloading.
- Once the download is complete, tap Reboot now
- If there's no update available, proceed with the next step

** Perform a factory reset

(WARNING)

- If required, have the backup data.
- Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.
- If applicable, remove the SD Card from the device to prevent accidental formatting while resetting.
- Click on the URLs in each step to view the screenshot

- Open Settings
- Scroll down & tap Additional settings
- Scroll down & tap Backup & reset
- Tap Factory data reset/Erase all data
- Tap Reset phone
- Wait for the countdown and then tap Next
- Wait for the countdown again and then tap OK

Note: During setup after the reset, please make sure that you doesn't restore the settings. To set it up as a new device. (Some Settings or Apps might be the root cause of the actual issue).

Also, not install apps from unknown sources like third-party websites or through SHAREit. Apps must be downloaded only from the Google Play Store.
