reinstate your commitment and interest in the job
for example you could say "thank you very much for your time today i appreciate it, and from the research I have carried out I would really like to be a part of your team."
step3/ clarity stage
you want to wipe out any doubts and alleviate any fears in the employers mind. good thing about this stage is that you're taking responsibility in clearing up everything
you could ask if they need clarification of anything you've said today
are there reservations you have about hiring me
have i answered your questions sufficiently
step4/ closing stage
finding out what the next steps are
1.How do we progress to the next stage? (open question)
2. can i ask when you will be making a decision
its to clear up your mind and you dont leave the interview not knowing whats going to happen next (not sure what the next steps are)
it clears up your expectations / to show your commitment to the job by showing interest in the process and progression
its also to prepare you incase they you have a busy schedule and they tell you that you need to answer a call, by then you'll know and clear up time for that call

whenevr you ask a question stay quiet and let them answer (do not answer for them)
