Hey guys sethly here back with another apex legends video, i hope youre all having a fantastic day. In todays video we're going to cover some leaks that were recently datamined in the files when the Lost treasures event was released. While there are quite a bit of other leaks that have been datamined, right now I want to focus on the new legend that was found and could potentially be the next addition to the game. However, i will be covering the rest of the leaks that DONT have to do with the Broken Ghost Quest, in the next couple videos. Before we get into the leaks, I want to make sure to give full credit to shrugtal for datamining all of these leaks, ill link him down below. As always, none of this is officially confirmed, its all speculation based off of files found in the current version of apex so you have to take it with a grain of salt because anything could change at any time. But lets go ahead and hop right into it. Starting out with a set of files that was added with the lost treasures event, ill show it on screen right now and as you guys can see there is a new name that we have never seen before and not only is the name new to the files, this new legend nova, has all of the same movement files that the rest of the legends have. But if that wasnt enough to convince you that this Nova person is a new legend, then this should help. Shrugtal said the addition of these files makes him think nova is almost certainly a legend because they also have animations. As you can see nova, is listed next to all the other legends like mirage, lifeline, crpto, and so on.

Now onto the highlight of these leaks, a new Legend Icon for Nova. And if you ask me, this art looks more complete than all the previously leaked character icons like Forge. Purely based on the image i think she looks like shes going to a fun legend to play. There was also a single file added that says nova_elevator_progress and to be honest that could mean a lot of different things. Maybe it is referring to an ingame teaser for Nova that will be added in game before the release of season 6. Just like how Crypto was teased with a laptop in game and the file said crypto_laptop, similar to this new nova file. But it could also be referring to one of the hatches on kings canyon that hasnt opened yet. Like I said, it could mean a lot of different things so comment down below what you think it could mean. While the meaning of that file might take a while to figure out, the meaning of this next set of files is as blatant as it gets. As you can see nova is now listed in the same format as all the other legends are. "pilot_medium_nova" just like pilot _medium_loba for example. But there are also some bangalore animations being used as placeholders for Nova. Overall, all of these leaks are definitely pointing towards Nova being one of the next legends if not the next one.

Not only did we get all of these new files for Nova added to the game but they also removed pretty much every reference to a character that has been leaked for a long time, Valk. Logicially it makes sense that this could mean that Nova is the new name for Valk. But if thats the case, what are the implications of this switch. Well, if you remember, back around season 2, a picture was leaked and it was spread around rapidly. As you can see the photo is of some sort of roadmap respawn put together for character testing. While this picture was never officialy verified, at this point in time I think we can definitively say it is real and someone secretly took the photo during testing. Because the release order of legends on the paper is exactly what has happened so far, crypto then revenant then loba. But if we continue to follow that pattern then it should mean rampart is the next and season 6 legend but who knows how much has changes since this picture has been taken. Its entirely plausabile that Nova could release in season 6 and rampart in season 7. I know a lot of people have been theorizing that rampart is the season 6 legend and he very well could be, so im gonna post a video just like this but for rampart in the next few days. That way you guys can take all the info we have and make an educated guess on who you think the season 6 character will be.

If shrugtals assumption is correct and Nova is a new name for Valk then that would mean we already know their abilites, or at least roughly what they will be like since they have already made changes to the abilities in the files and i wouldnt be surprised if they made a few more before the release. Originally when valks abilities were first found in the files, the passive was flying faster while skydiving and the tactical was hovering. Eventually they changed Valks abilities in the files and made the passive be VTOL Jets that allow you to hover in air. Im really curious about how high the limit for hovering will be, but nothing in the valk files provided an answer. But the updated valk files had one more change and it was the addition of the Cluster Missile as the Tactical ability. This ability fires a rocket that explodes multiple times, which sound like a pretty useful ability to have as a tactical. The model for the tactical was also in the files so Ill show it on screen as well as the animations that go along with it. Lastly Valks Ultimate is Skyward, this ability launches you and your teamates into the air so you can skydive and redeploy. It also gives your teamates the option to choose to launch with you or not. But like I said earlier, when Nova was added to the files, almost every trace of Valk was removed. If Nova is the real name for valk, then i guess it would make sense because the name nova somewhat relates to the type of kit she has. A nova is a star showing a sudden large increase in brightness which could correlate to their abilities because they all have something to do with the sky in one way or another.

Now before you guys go and get super stuck on season 6s legend being Nova, just remember how the devs baited us with forge so there is always the chance that this could be the same. Which would probably mean the real season 6 legend would be Rampart.
