Hello my name is Shannen and I'm excited to be joining Cambly. I am a native English speaker and have learned conversational Spanish for almost 4 years now. My friends would describe me as a bit of a nerd because I love reading and poetry. For me though, English can be fun to read, speak, and listen to because there are so many new words and phrases to learn and use. Language is almost like an art and the best part is anyone can learn. Despite being a nerd I love learning about other peoples interest and cultures while sharing my own through conversation. I have assisted in camp designed to improve communication skills and currently volunteer in public speaking workshops so if you need help with enunciation on top of bbasic conversational skills, I'm here to help. Don't be afraid if you are shy though because I'm very friendly and work to make every lesson fun while helping you grow as a speaker.
