I'm interning with Federal Highway this summer with the South Carolina Division, so I'm not too well-versed on all of the ongoing activities directly related to how public involvement is currently being carried out, but I've had some experience in related activities...
As Yolanda mentioned, we recently conducted the first TMA certification review virtually in South Carolina for the Colombia area COATS MPO, which went well and was held using Adobe Connect.
And as far as public involvement goes, there have been meetings I've attended or know of that have been conducted virtually... we recently had a Zoom discussion regarding updates to the COATS MPO LRTP that I attended and I also was able to view a virtual demonstration platform to share project information with the public last week.
And additionally, I know of meetings going on with a community advisory committee that we’ve been working with for the I-526 project that has also transitioned to a virtual environment.
So that’s all of my related experience on the topic.
