honestly whatever ends up on your paper is the best way : D whether that be fanart, anatomy practice or your own characters/creatures
i'm just a particularly narrow-minded artist so i'm not a perfect example
i didn't even go to college to learn art, but to be educated in design haha

but that's my point! your "narrow-mindedness" gave you focus and a clear place to aim for while I've just been putzing about with the vague idea of "become a better artist." I wanna do simple and specific stuff to like shippy stuff and OC and sonas lol
