I am currently working as a research and development engineer in a Tübitak TEYDEB Project at Morpa Kültür Yayınları. My current job mostly consists of data engineering, machine learning engineering and big data engineering tasks.
Morpa is an e-learning platform which has almost 10 million users and I have worked with the online behaviors of these users. I built prediction and recommendation systems integrated with a machine learning module, did clustering with respect to the user activities, extracted associations of user actions using an association rule mining module. In addition, I wrote 2 academic articles based on our work with my team, the first one has been published, second one was just submitted. The technologies I mainly used were Java 8 SE, Python 3, Linux Bash, big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka, Hadoop), machine learning frameworks (e.g., MLlib, Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy) and MongoDB.
Most of the technologies I have used are very common with the ones stated in the job posting. I strongly believe that I'm a perfect fit for the position. Thank you very much for considering my application. I look forward to your response.
