Gem of the True Sacrifice: Torn grants you the ability to make the ultimate sacrifice. As a reaction, when a creature you can see takes damage you may choose to take it instead. If this act causes you to fall unconscious, you automatically pass your first death saving throw. Usable once per day.

Gem of the Ultimate Gamble: Torn grants you the ability to convert health into magical energy. As a bonus action, you or an ally who can see the amulet may regain a first-level spell slot. You can try to make this regained spell-slot one level higher by rolling 13 or above on a d20. If you succeed, the spell-slot becomes one level higher. If you roll beneath a 13, you take necrotic damage according to the level of the spell-slot you were trying to convert. This damage ignores resistances and immunities. You may then repeat this process if you choose to do so. Usable once per day.

When used on another creature, any damage you might take from this item is halved.

Gem of the Martyr: Torn grants you the ability to defend those who cannot. When an ally within 5ft of you is targeted by an attack, as a reaction, you can choose to have the attack target yourself instead. The attacker is then granted advantage. Usable once per short rest.

Sword of Torn: +1 shortsword

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Additionally, using a bonus action, the sword may be raised up; invoking the protection of Torn.
A 5-foot-radius glowing, opaque dome of force springs into existence around and above you and remains stationary for the duration. The spell ends if the sword is lowered or you move outside of the dome. When activated, any creatures within a 5-foot-radius are counted as being within the dome. Five creatures of Medium size or smaller can fit inside the dome with you. The spell fails if its area includes a larger creature or more than five creatures. Creatures and objects within the dome cannot move out of the dome and other creatures and objects outside of the dome are barred from passing into it. Spells and other magical effects can’t extend through the dome or be cast into or out of the dome.
The dome lasts until the beginning of your next turn. At the beginning of your next turn, you must pass a concentration check to keep the dome active. If you fail, the dome disappears. Usable once per long rest.
