Other than the new twitch prime announcement that came out today, we got a few pieces of information from Respawn's apex team over the past couple of days. Starting out with something that peaked my interest when I saw it on my timeline, a tweet from Tom Casiello, who is the current Apex legends Writer for respawn. Making him, pretty much, the leader of all things apex lore and storyline. Someone tweeted at him asking about how the legends will react now that they know who the mole was in the quest. And hes especially curious about how wattson will react, and rightfully so. I guess I should say spoiler alert if you havent finished the quests already but im sure the vast majority of you already have. But as you guys know, it was revealed that Caustic was the mole. If youre unaware, it has been hinted at many times throughout apexs lore, that Caustic is like a father figure to wattson. For example, in a teaser that was released back in February, it stated, "That Nox is too obsessed with scienec and ever since hes been getting paternal with the girl, hes lost his edge?" And of course the girl that was referenced is Wattson. Since Caustic is like a father figure to wattson, then how will she feel when she finds out he was the mole. I mean, to be honest, she shouldnt be surprised since he is pretty much a mad scientist and sociopath. But back to the tweet, Tom quote tweeted the question about wattsons reaction and said "Guess you'll have to play Season Six and find out what Wattson has to say about it..." Now this may not seem like much but it confirms that they will be continuing the lore through out season 6 and it could even mean that we will be getting another type of quest in Season 6. It also means that they are working on season 6s lore and more likely, they already have it planned out. But for now, like Tom said, we will have to wait for Season 6 to find out what wattson has to say about it.
Speaking of the broken ghost quest, as you guys know, the artifacts pieced together Ashes head and she later appeared in game at the end of the quest and teased a new map for season 6. For those of you who didnt play titanfall 2, Ash is a simulacrum pilot and the antagonist in the single player campain of titanfall 2. Although I didnt play much titanfall 2, as far as I know, when the campaign ended she was presumed to be dead. So there is a lot we dont know about whats happened to Ash in the time between the end of titanfall 2 and season 5 of apex. Well, someone was curious about what happened to ash resulting in her head being split into 9 different pieces. He tweeted at tom casiello saying "Hold on. How the heck did Ashes head get scatttered, dismantled and spread out across different dimensions in the first place? A very good question in my opinion, I personally had never even considered asking why. The good news is that Tom replied with a tease, saying "How indeed? Its almost as if theres more to the story." After that, Rayme Vinson a respawn dev, replied saying "Oh, huh. Did we forget to tell them what happened? Ah well" This means that we will be learning more about what happened to Ash as we get new lore in season 6 and im definitely excited to see what they have planned. But, clearly theyre having some fun at the expense of our ignorance to unreleased lore. Which I cant get mad at them for, since im sure their teases like this are nothing when compared to what they have planned for season 6. Let me know down in the comment section below, your thoughts on Ash and how she plays into Season 6's lore and the future of the apex games. If you enjoyed the video, make sure to hit that like button and dont forget to hit the sub button and turn on the notification bell. But its been your boy sethly and im out.
