Hello my teacher, i'm going to talk about operating systems on computers in this video. Today, Almost all electrical devices have a operating system. Operating system provide that between hardware and software work and be compatibility together. These features provide easy to use for users. There are 7 different types of operating systems in the world for now. These are: Single-tasking and multi-tasking, single-user and multi-user, Distributed, Templated, Embedded, Real-Time, Library. These types change as to usage fields.
I will give a example for each:
Single-tasking and multi-tasking are used in old systems like Windows NT.
single-user and multi-user are used for accounting softwares.
Distributed operating systems are used in specific companies like at our university's system.
Templated operating systems are used in large server warehouses.
Embedded operating systems are used in home devices generally.
First operating system was invented in the 1950s by Alan Turing, but this operating system just had 2 features. In today, there are many operating systems and they have very advanced and complicate features. Windows 10 is one of them. Windows 10 is the most popular operating system in the world. Windows 10 has many beneficial features against other operating systems. Because of it, many peoplu use windows operating system on their computers today. So, Why many people use windows operating systems on their computers ? Because windows 10 provide unlike other operating systems provide easy to use, high compatibility and performance, stable graphic interface and other features.
There is a operating system in every machine that can imagine. In refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, televisions, smartphones, computers and other everything. Actually, operating systems are very important for our life. We don't see it, but Operating systems provide us everything in our device's background.
