Hello, my name is Zephanya Ruth Gabriella with 1961007 as student ID number. My response about using technology in teaching and learning english is, I fully support it. Because technology will always evolve each year and it simply supports and accelerate learning, it continues to grow in importance as a tool to help teacher. Technology has been used to both help and improve language learning. Students can be more active by gaining more information from the internet. However, applying technology should be started from high school; Primary and second education students can focus in learning how the technology works due to their mindset are still child-like. Moving forward to high school, they already understand about how the technology works and how they should acces it. This country still lack in educating students about the internet because not everything is safe there, so the goverment need to increase it; because the "internet sehat" blocking system won't work at all. Advancements in technology have a key role in preparing students to use what they learn in any subject matter to find their place in the world. The use of technology in teaching and learning makes it interesting, enjoyable, and interactive. This also give students motivation and engagement. In conclusion, using technology doesn't remove the usual traditional teacher, but it only affect on how teacher teachs. It is improving and it is evolving together with the modern world.
