Notes

Because of my father's work, I lived in several regions. We are good here on the Atlantic coast, because the sea is often rough and I can surf. Our house in Hossegor is all/very near the beach, which I like. However, I have to do some gardening, which I hate, because the lawn is huge. Apart from water sports, there isn't any big thing to do, because Hossegor is all/verysmall, and far from big cities with their cinemas and their discos.

I live in Reims in an HLM in the city center. The main advantage is the proximity of shops. For example, there is a pharmacy opposite. We have a beautiful cathedral where King Charlemagne was crowned. 5 minutes away one finds oneself in the villages where there are the vines which produce the great wine of Champagne. I'm really happy here. I have the intention to stay there when I am older.


I live in a building near Lille. There is little green space and nothing to do. We are getting used to the problems of drugs and alcohol. I hate my neighborhood and my life here. When I have enough money, I take the train and go fishing far from the city and from its pollution. To be alone in the countryside is my ideal. I would live there if I could.

I live in Fez, Morocco. I am Muslim. Our big festival is called Eid. The month before, we should not eat or drink anything during the day. When it's over, we have a very big meal to thank Allah for giving us the strength to respect the rules of our religion. Everybody dresses well, the best possible in fact, and a lot of people decorate their house.

In Martinique, in the Caribbean, we celebrate Mardi Gras with a big carnival, like many countries. The difference is that we do it again twenty days later. It's called Dimanche Gras (Sunday Bold), and we wear some very cool costumes to participate in a big procession in town. No time to sit down to eat or drink! We dance all the night. It’s an absolutely exciting festival, and it’s very good for tourism. I love it.

At ours, in the southwest of France, at the end of July or beginning of August, there are the festivals of Bayonne. during five days a million visitors come to the city to watch the processions and see cows running in the streets! It's funny, but as people run in front of the cows, it always worries me. We eat and drink a lot with the friends that we haven't seen since the last festivals. Everyone wears white clothes with a red belt.
