Příprava
Brambory očistíme a nakrájím na hranolky.
Rozpálíme olej na 150 °C. Při dosažení teploty vkládáme hranolky. Pokud máme hranolků hodně, je nutné rozdělit množství na dávky. Pokud bychom zahltili hrnec velkým množstvím, příliš by klesla teplota oleje a hranolky by byly promáčené. Hranolky smažíme přibližně 15 minut
Hranolky neděláme dozlatova, pouze do světlé barvy. Barvu si hranolky získají při druhém smažení.
Vyndáme hranolky a dáme je na plochu s obrouskem, který vsákne přebytečný olej. Pokud máme více dávek, opakujeme.
V případě že je první smažení hotové, můžeme přistoupit na druhé kolo. Olej rozpálíme na 180°C. Když je olej rozpálen vkládáme hranolky, opět po dávkách a smažíme max 5 minut nebo dokud nejsou zlatavé a křupavé.
Po dosažení požadované barvy, vyndáváme na ubrosky a okamžitě posolíme a podáváme.
