Getting Janette Rohwedder out of Safeway will impact the stores moral in a very positive way. This store has always been a very wonderful store to work at until Janette Rohwedder was transferred here from store 027. Janette Rohwedder  has made this store a very Toxic workplace. People at this store have been like family for many years and work very hard for this company. Since Janette Rohwedder transfer here she has made this a place of fear and stress. People are afraid to speak up in fear of retaliation by Janette Rohwedder for the wrong doing of her actions, which include a list of things that we would mention but as i said before we fear for our jobs and the stories would provided Janette Rohwedder our identity so we hope this petition will show upper managment that there needs to be a change. We do not understand how Safeway has kept Janette Rohwedder as long as they have,she did the same thing to her workers at store 027. It is sad that a once wonderful store can change so horribly by the acts of one negative person. There is such a lack of energy by employees now from being scheduled by Janette Rohwedder for sometimes almost 2 weeks straight before a day off, she does not allow mangers control of there own scheduling and if they do write it, Janette Rohwedder will go in and change the posted schedule all the time and at the last minute and don't care if people have had days off requested, she abuses this in so many ways. Janette Rohwedder tells people that she does the schedule 2 weeks in advance so they can plan there lives around work but then changes it when it is finalized and posted then writes people up or gives them points if they don't comply with the changes. Janette Rohwedder has had people in her office on many occasions yelling upset about something she has done and this can be heard by employees and customers at times. She consistently has people on separate pages regrading task and issues which causes stress and conflict among the workers. Janette Rohwedder has had the union (UFCW) called on her many times with complaints but continues to mistreat her employees. Since Janette Rohwedder transfer here to 1599 many wonderful people that have been here for years now talk of transferring, but why should they? it is Janette Rohwedder that needs to go. Janette Rohwedder has made this such a toxic work place that there is no clear and open communication between the management staff and the workers. Janette Rohwedder  has made it so toxic that there is no longer expressed appreciation or praise from the management staff to us workers which was never the case with other store managers at this store. we have never seen this store so toxic. We the employees spend more time at work then we do with our family's and we have always considered these people our second family however since Janette Rohwedder transfer here to store 1599 people have turned on each other and there is so much gossip and complaining that it needs to change. We as employees need to ban together and start treating each other with respect once again and have each others back against Janette Rohwedder and by signing this petition we are doing just that. We understand that its not just a job. Its a mortgage, its rent, food on the table, its years invested so we become fearful to a tyrant that consistently threatens our job or makes it so stressful. The number of people calling in for there shifts have increased because people are so tired from the stress and toxic environment that Janette Rohwedder has created here. That needs to change. We need to stand together once again and let our voice be heard by sighing this petition. We desperately need Safeway to listen and the union to please step up and help get this petition sighed and Janette Rohwedder out of this company. no one should ever be allowed to abuse there power as Janette Rohwedder has for so many years, especially to workers that have given there all to this company during this pandemic before this pandemic and will continue to do so when it is a thing of the past. We need everyone to sign this petition if you have ever worked for Janette Rohwedder and agree that she is a bully and has made this store 1599 or store 027 a toxic place to work. Sign now and lets take our store back.
