I sat here and listened to all 18 minutes of this even though my blood boiled the entire time. I'll get to my main point, and I won't mince my words: GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU RACIST ASSHOLE.

If you or Candace don't believe that George Floyd deserved to die by the hands of a police officer, then what was the purpose of this video?

I'll only provide one source because I won't subject myself to your emotional labor (https://www.sentencingproject.org/publications/color-of-justice-racial-and-ethnic-disparity-in-state-prisons/). Black people are incarcerated at 5x the rate of white people (and serve longer sentences as well) and it's not because Black people are committing 5x more crimes. These are certifiable facts. Police brutality and racism are not myths, we've seen situations time and time again that cost people their lives. Even the Minneapolis police use force against Black people at 7x the rate of white people and Black people don't even makeup 1/5 of the population there. Do you both really think that such a small sector of the population is responsible for so much crime?

Candace incorrectly asserts that the overall population shouldn't be factored into results (9 Black people vs 19 White people or whatever number she said) but that's just bad statistics. There's so much information about crime rates and in what she's saying.

The fact of the matter is that it doesn't matter who George was or who any Black person is/was, police should not be deciding who gets to live and who gets to die. It is not a cop's job to be the judge and jury of a person's worth or over their life expectancy. It is also unacceptable to be a bad cop-- that isn't a job where people should be allowed to make mistakes that cost people their lives. She referenced doctors and medical malpractice, but we have clearly defined laws regarding malpractice and how doctors should be held responsible for their actions in the operating room. Police on the other hand are completely in control of their own investigations of their own departments and handing out reprimands based on their own principles that are separate from civilian law and have their own established precedents that are unfairly biased towards police in all circumstances. Take some time and do some actual research from experts and your opponents.

Being married to a POC doesn't exempt you in any way from racist behavior or tendencies. I fear for the world that your potential children may grow up in.
