Lights Out: Description of Roles and What Roles Have To Do
Good Team
Detective: They are given 2 or 3 clues each night about someone
Survivor: The Survivor must survive and vote off the bad team
Bad team
Murderer: Can kill someone every time the lights turn off
Scout: Can see someone's role (only one time)
Neutral Team
narrator: the narrator has to hand out positions.

Ask Who the Murderer wants to kill
tell the detective 2 or 3 things about someone
(This must be anonymous)
Also, the narrator cannot be voted out or vote or participate in any player activities.
(This will be explained in further detail at the end of this manual)
Lights out: How to Perform Roles
Good team
Survivor: Needs to survive and to do this they need to not get voted off and vote off the bad team
Detective: The detective will receive random information (by the narrator) about someone. The detective can tell the narrator who he thinks is the murderer (based on his clues) if the detective tells the narrator who he thinks is murderer this will be announced by the narrator and not from the detective themselves.
Bad team
Murderer: The murderer can tell the narrator (every time the lights turn off) who they want to kill.
(This will be further explained at the end of this manual)
Scout: The scout can ask (once a game) the narrator what someone's role is. To do this the scout must ask the narrator ( in public) to go somewhere private to ask the narrator their question.
(They must do this carefully since it can reveal their role)
More explanation
I would advise you to read this information because without it you would be very lost and confused.
The good team must work together and vote out the bad team. (they must also try to discover each other roles so that they can work together more easily but they must remember that a member of the bad team could deceive them.
There are also journals. In the journals, people can write whatever they want. And their journal will be read out publicly when they die.
The bad team must also work together to vote off the good team. Also, the bad team can very easily deceive the good team. But a member of the good team can deceive them as well. A good strategy for the scout to discover his teammate is to ask the narrator what their role is but the downside of this strategy is that the scout could ask about the wrong person and use their ability.
To kill someone the murderer will be called out of the room ( the door will be open so the murderer can exit easily.
The detective will be called every two times the lights turned off by the narrator and will be told information about a random person. The narrator will tell him away from the rest of the players so that they do not hear the information.
There will also be voting someone off every time the lights turn off if there is a tie then the person will be randomly selected to be eliminated by the narrator.
If only the good team remains then both members win.
If only the bad team remains then both members win.
If only detective and murderer remains then detective wins.
if only detective and scout remain then the detective wins.
if only survivor and scout remain then the survivor wins.
if only the survivor and murderer remain then the murderer wins.
Also every 5. minutes the lights turn off after the end of these 3 minutes somebody will be voted off.



This game will take place in the TV lounge on Saturday the 11th of June.
