Growing up in Indonesia, with both of my parents being a graduate of the same field of study, I have been influenced by them and as such have wondered what Economy actually is. How the study can create a significant impact on one's life, their country and also the world. I live in a country that is currently still striving to overcome the copious amounts of economic challenges. I believe that by studying economics at the right university, I will be able to take a big step in contributing to improving Indonesia's financial state of affairs and optimise the potential of our human resources.

Politics and international affairs are my areas of interest. By studying Politics, I expect to understand how one's power could affect another in a country, as well as the system of works behind it. Majoring in Politics would also allow an opportunity for me to be a diplomat for Indonesia. The fact that international affairs also include the political aspect of building diplomacy shows that both subjects are related.

I am curious by the way that businesses could create a big difference in people's life. Furthermore, the fun aspect of business that I want to comprehend further is the strategies in maintaining a business to stay alive and moving it onwards.

Japan is a great country to study finance and governance. I find it outstanding how a country with several natural resources limitation as well as a country that is susceptible to natural disasters are one of the top countries leading economies in Asia, in such a sophisticated way. I am also enamoured by the hard-working people of Japan; their work ethics are some of the most admirable and worth striving for. In particular, the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen has taught me the importance of building constant progress rather than working with fluctuating unsustainable energy. Moreover, the beauty in Japan's scenery and culture have always put Japan on my top travelling wishlist.

I am considering to share my studying experience in Japan to the Indonesian youth, via digital media. By sharing my experience I expect that there will be more Indonesian youths interested to study and visit Japan, as well as get direct informative insights on Japan to broaden their knowledge. Through this, they may also get inspired by the gifted cultural diversity that we all have and also actively participate in interstate communities. Further down, I would like to continue my study abroad and work in the Ministry of Finance or Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Indonesia. And if possible, I plan on conducting research or project which involves both Indonesia and Japan to tighten the relationship between the two countries.
