Rachel was calmly sleeping in her big and cozy bed. When suddenly her phone started ringing. She groaned loudly, "Who could be calling me right now?" she asked herself. She picked up her phone, "Hello-" she was cut off by a voice which sounded like a voicemail. "This is Eastwood High and we have called to let you know that school will be closed for today" her eyes slowly opened up in surprise. "Do to the snow, all schools are closed for today" she kept listening. "Thank you and have a great day, goodbye." She put her phone back on her bed. She got out of bed, and went to check her window. "There's no way." She thought again. As she got to her window, she pulled back the curtains that were covering the bright light. When she looked out she saw white snow everywhere and I mean everywhere. "Holy cow" she said. She quickly closed the curtains back to their original position. She grabbed her robe and put it on, she then ran to her parents room. She pushed their door open and screamed "MOM! DAD!" they both quickly sat up with scared eyes. "Whats wrong honey?" her mom asked concerned. "ITS A SNOW DAY" she screamed once again. "Sweetie, you scared me to death." she let out a big breath. Her mom got up and put her glasses on and robe. Her dad went back to sleep. "Let's go wake up your brother and tell him." "Okay" she replied back excited. They both went into his room. Rachel was about to scream once again until her mom stopped her. "Please don't." she said. "Sorry" she whispered. Her mom slowly started opening his curtains to let some light in, while Rachel waited patiently. When mom got done with the curtains, she went to his bed and softly caressed his head. "Honey" she said to him sweetly. While he slowly started moving around while groaning. "No" he said with a tired voice. "Its a snow day" Rachel said a lot quieter. His eyes immediately opened wide. "Really?" He asked already wide awake. Rachel nodded. He jumped out of his bed, and he started dancing around his room. Rachel joined him. While their mom just laughed at them. "Come on guys let get our coats on and we will go out for a few minutes." Their mom said. They quickly went downstairs. While mom followed them. After they got their coats on, they already were opening the door. "Wait a second." Their mom said stopping them. "What?" Rachel asked impatiently. "We have to get your toboggans and your mittens." she looked at them with serious eyes. "Oh" Rachel's brother added. When mom got their toboggans and mittens, she went to give them to them. As they quickly put them on, mom said "Now were ready to go." After mom put her jacket, mittens, and toboggan on, they all went outside. Rachel ran around, playing with the snow. Her brother made a snow ball and threw it at her when she wasn't looking. When she felt it hit her back, she turned around and saw her brother with a smirk, she started smirking back at him. And slowly bent down to make a snowball, when her brother started taking cover behind a bush covered with snow. "Ryyyann" she said in a creepy but joking way. She was looking everywhere for him, but for some reason she just couldn't find him. While she walking around still trying to find him, she saw a bush that soon started moving for a bit. And she started smirking again. "Oh I wonder where Ryan is." she said in a sarcastic way. "Wherever he may be" she said when she started getting closer to the moving bush. Now she was in front of the moving bush. And then she started hearing small giggles. Then she started laughing also, then she quickly moved the bush and saw Ryan laughing up a storm. Ryan tried to run away but it didn't work this time. She threw her snowball she made a while ago. And then she started laughing, "That's what you get." she said still laughing. Ryan then tackled her to the ground and started wrestling her and laughing at the same time. "Ew, your breath stinks!" She said jokingly. Then he started dramatically breathing in her face. She started waving her hand in the air. "Ewww" she said. "That's what you get!" Their mom saw them wrestling around like pigs, she started laughing again. "Crazy kids" She said.
