☾ ----- Fang Xu

In the village of Millflower, there was an unusual sight to be seen: A small, red harpy boy attached by the hip to a small, though not as small as the harpy, cloaked figure with a wicked grin on his face. Scratch that, instead of unusual, it looked downright suspicious, like the cloaked figure was going to advertise the harpy for sale at any moment. They certainly seemed to be attracting a lot of attention as, besides the duo's strange appearance, there were two ginormous weapons - a scythe and a spear - clattering and clanging like pots and pans that were stuck together like a magnet. It made heads turn, though the two didn't seem to notice, or care, at all, too occupied with all the wondrous events that are happening all around them.

A cackle emitted from the cloaked figure, showing off white, sharp teeth like a vampire's underneath the hood. "Dunno! But I ain't complainin'! Look at this place!" He threw his hands in the air, gesturing to anything and everything in the area. Crowds, booths... it's like some sort of harvest festival! Why even is there a festival? Who cares! There's a festival! An arm snaked around the harpy boy, giving a, what would be a bone crushing hug, only that the male had about the same amount of strength as a twig.

Really, the detour (could you call something a detour if you weren't intending to go anywhere?) wasn't planned at all, instead first brought upon when Aíma's spear and Fang's scythe started sticking to each other like maggots on flesh. Since then, the weapons had been pulling the two towards somewhere, and the somewhere just so happened to be this lovely, lovely festival! Well, seriously! A free festival without any warning? Count Fang in!

Of course, there was a catch to suddenly being led to an awesome, unknown, festival: Fang and Aíma can't go into the crowd! With the weapons clanging against each other like the worlds most dangerous noise maker, it'll practically be suicide to go into a crowd! Someone could get chopped up to itty-bitty pieces on the sharp points of the weapons, and there's no way to know where the weapons would drag them next, so stuck at the edge of the crowd they are! Bor-ing! So, when Aíma started singing a tune, it seemed only polite to whistle back! It's almost second nature to Fang, really, as Fang has sung with so many birdies and other chirping creatures that it would be rude for him not to! Out of the corner of his eyes (No one could see Fang's eyes, anyways, as they were shrouded in darkness under the black hood Fang wore), he saw Aíma look at him, and Fang turned his own head towards the red birdy and let out a wicked grin that said "Oh yes, we are doing this!"
