Animation is often used in films, adds and video games. Can you name some animations films that you recently saw? The artist in visual arts Paul Morstad lived and worked in Vancouver. he painted and did animation films. his favorite themes were geography, environment, and animals. he did 2 films for the national film board of Canada.
Moon Man (2004 NFB), an animated film in 3 perspectives of Paul Morstard, told as the folkloric history of a fisher from terre-neuve.
Open House: What is your school education?
Paul: I got my diploma from Emily Carr University of Art and Design of Vancouver in 1997.
OH: why did you choose t get a program in animation?
Paul:At that school I followed the course of painting, design and some animation courses. I've been addicted ever since.
OH: What is the beast way to start an animation if we are not studding it?
Paul: There are many good books to learn the basics on animation.
OH:What can we do with a animation education?
Paul: There is work in the filed of cinema and on TV and on the video game industry.
OH:What detectors and your animation films do you prefer?
Paul: My favorite Canadian directors are : Wendy Tilby and Amanda Forbis, When the Day Breaks (1999, NFB); John Weldon Log Driver’s Waltz (La valse du maître draveur) (NFB, 1979) and Christopher Hinton, Blackfly (Mouches noires) (1991, NFB).
