**[ALMIGHTY SPECIES TIER LIST**]

Due to the world our lovely character's live in, there's a pecking order- meaning that some monsters will be rarer then the others, especially the ones at the top of the list. No specific species live in total poverty(as each species sorta lives their own lifestyle), but some are definitely looked down upon more then others. From top to bottom are the most respected monsters and the bottom most is the least.

Deities - The rarest, but most well respected, "monster" type. They tend to range in forms and size, but all of them are pretty powerful- with even one of them being one of the staff at the school. However, not all of them are exactly good and tend to be more feared then loved. They can live forever, but CAN be killed- although that'd be pretty hard.
Powers: Immortality(to an extent)- though their powers depend on what they're the deity of.

Demons - Second rarest monster type class. They rule what's classified as "hell" and the deity of the afterlife rules over it with an iron fist. There's many different types of them and are pretty annoying to encounter, although most of them are classified due to their horns and tails- although some can disguise themselves better then others. They can die, but, can easily resurrect themselves in hell.
Powers: Enhanced condition(super speed and stuff), weapon creation(to an extent), shapeshifting(although their eyes will still be black in color), curse inducement, resurrection

Djinn - Not exactly classified as demons, the djinn are kinda the "true neutrals" of the world. They tend to serve whoever summons them via whatever rites they perform- although there are some that were freed from their enteral punishment by. They're classified by their "whispy" bodies and are very warm to the touch, due to the fact that their hair tends to be made of fire itself. They are immortal when they're bound to service, but become mortal when released.
Powers: Ability to grant wishes(within an extent/if they're in service.), air/smoke mimicry(can turn their bodies to air or smoke), enhanced condition(super speed and stuff), invisibility.

Dragon - Large serpentine like creatures that are pretty fierce when it comes to protecting what they care for- whether it be their treasure or their loved ones. Not all of them are the same and there's a pretty wide range of species- but unfortunately, aren't as plentiful as they once were due to a largely human activity known as "dragon hunting", making them pretty bitter to the humans that remain. They can transform into more humanoid forms themselves, although they still hold serpent like features such as scales and wings. Oh, and you don't want to piss one off, as they're not afraid of holding grudges. Shapeshifters and lower demons are the most common types.
Powers: Shapeshifting(really just shifting between dragon and "human" form), ability to breathe fire(or ice), control over water(depending on dragon type) storm-making(depending on type).

Elementals - Creatures that are the physical embodiment of storms. They tend to serve under deities and are viewed as largely gross by many due to their ability to lick that boot so much, although they're so high up because of their ability to do so.
Powers: Ability to create/manifest storms, air/smoke mimicry(can turn their bodies to air or smoke), enhanced condition, invisibility, and shapeshifting(to a small extent).

Fae - Pretty nature spirits, they're largely seen as cute little things with butterfly like wings(that are very fragile), elvish features, and greenish skin. They can grow and shrink to their own will (although they can only shrink down to their natural height, which is about two apples high for a grown fairy, and about normal human height) and despite being seen as pretty wisened, are also pretty mischievous. Humans are enamored with them and see fairy rings as a sign of good luck. It's considered a damning sentence if you tear a fairy's wings off as it practically kills them, and the nature deity does not appreciate that.
Powers: Growing/shrinking, empathy manipulation, glowing(they literally just glow), healing, illusionary magic(to an extent), flight, and plant manipulation.

Merpeople - Humanoid creatures with the bodily features of that of a fish. Most vary in size and shape, with some having the lower body of an octopus and some with the body of a shark- although some have the body of a human and can be viewed as pure blooded merpeople still. However, one thing they have in common is pointy teeth and the inability to breathe out of water for long, which is why they need an amulet to do so. (Selkies fall under merpeople as well btw)
Powers: Ability to communicate with other aquatic creatures, water manipulation(to an extent), and enhanced senses.

Sirens - Not entirely classified as merpeople, sirens differ in the fact they're kind of... Uncomfortable, to associate with. They hold the ability to be able to breathe out of water and have bird-like features, a fish lowerhalf, and the head of a human. They can manipulate themself to look like a regular human, however, and tend to lore unsuspecting sailors and swimmers to their death, and aren't very picky eaters... Though most have mostly rid this way of life, although merpeople kinda hate them.
Powers: Appearance manipulation, enhanced senses, siren song.

Plant Monsters - Although they tend to appear humanoid in appearance, plant monsters are viewed as pretty helpful due to their keen nature with plants- although unlike satyrs, centaurs, and fae, most don't serve under the nature deity and instead stick to themself.
Powers: Plant manipulation, healing(to an extent), communication with plants around them.

Slime/Blob Monsters - Creatures who hold the ability to manipulate their physical appearance due to their gelatinous feature, making them able to appear however they want. Some are acidity to the touch and dissolve bone if they want, although most are pretty harmless.
Powers: Transformation, enhanced durability, limb reattachment/deattachment.

Insect Monsters- Humanoids with the body parts of insects such as spiders, praying mantis', and so on. Although there's some that can't really communicate that well with others, they largely can.
Powers: Depends on whatever insect they're part of.

Kappa - Green, human-like water spirits who have webbed feet and hands, a turtle-like carapace, and a depression on it's head revered to as a dish with liquid in it. Are largely blamed for drowning the young of non-kappa creatures, although they largely keep to themselves.
Powers: Aquatic adaption, enhanced bite, limb reattachment, night vision.

Griffons - A creature with the midtorso/tail/backlegs of a feline and the head/wings/front legs of a bird, although it depends on what type they are. Largely solitary, territorial creatures that hold a strong hatred towards humans due to the past days of griffon hunting.
Powers: Enhanced condition, night vision, flight, enhanced vision, claw retraction, super strength.

Chimeras - A creature that tends to be a blend of different animals. Not as solitary as griffons and although they're wary towards humans, are viewed as tricksters by all.
Powers: Enhanced condition, fire breath(for some), poison generation(for some), night vision.

Centaurs - Monsters with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse. Their horse parts can vary in species and they're viewed as wise and widely kind, although they're also worshippers of the nature deity.
Powers: Enhanced speed, enhanced combat, enhanced endurance.

Satyrs - Creatures with the bodies of goats/rams/similar creatures and the upper bodies of humans, although they always tend to have horns. Known worshippers of the nature deity, they are pretty close to nature due to their blessing many generations ago and are sorta seen as the "hippies", which can be seen either way.
Powers: Enhanced agility, enhanced leaping, music magic(usually with nature, although some can induce confusion or fear as well).

Robots - Creatures that are made of technological devices- they are

Golems - Large creatures that are made of clay/stone/minerals/wood/ice/water. They lack a soul and there are some that thin servve to a master, although most of them have a free will They cannot have children and must create them.
Powers: Enhanced condition, defunct physiology(no organic weaknesses).

Ghosts

Zombies

Franken Monsters

Werewolves/vampires (theyre kinda viewed as the same)

Warlocks/Witches

Ogres

Humans
