- a week into the apocalypse -

Irwin was checking out a convenience store when Kei rushed in to use the bathroom. The two decided they would team up. They slept on the roof and when they came down in the morning, they met Nickson who had snuck into the store during the night to sleep.

Scarlett, Azrael and Azazel met up, and Scarlett was quickly fed up with the younger two redheads. She became their mother goose.

Autumn had stayed in her hotel room the entire time due to fear. She managed to leave her door unlocked, however, and Cecil slipped in. He made some comments about her thighs and she threatened him with a salad fork. Then, Nick broke through the window and demanded Autumn and Cecil hand over their supplies. They moved past it quickly, and the three slept in her room during the night with Autumn on the bed and the two boys on the floor.

Joshua and [Lilith] wandered the outskirts of the city, slowly inching nearer.

[Brianna] and Kaiko were walking down the street when Lloid fell off the roof and onto them.

Viridian entered a small convenience store and saved Devika who was being attacked by an undead. Heading outside, the two met Itsuki and they decided to head to Devika’s apartment for the night.

- the next day -

Irwin, Kei and Nickson ventured toward an abandoned McDonald’s and met Tomie. Outside, Nickson spotted three moving red blobs. He pulled out his gun and threatened Scarlett, Azazel and Azrael, but Irwin quickly disarmed him. This resulted in Irwin getting kicked in the stomach and Scarlett helping him to his feet. From the distance, Kaiko and Lloid observed like hawks.

- the next day -

Wandering aimlessly, Viridian, Itsuki, and Devika headed toward the McDonald’s. Scarlett and Kaiko welcomed them after an awkward conversation.

At this point, Irwin, Kei, Nickson, Scarlett, Azazel, Azrael, Autumn, Cecil, Nick, Kaiko, Lloid, Viridian, Devika, and Itsuki were all residents of the McDonald’s.

- a week later -

It was a foggy morning. Irwin, Kaiko and Scarlett were trying to set up a room dedicated to the food supplies. It had proved difficult, however, to get everyone to contribute their resources. Irwin decided they needed to do a supply run to maintain what they had.

Itsuki declared she would go on the supply run by herself due to a lack of volunteers and she exited the building. Sitting outside, Devika asked Itsuki where she was going and attempted to convince Itsuki that she needs to let people in her life.

Meanwhile, Kaiko was heading to the back of the McDonald’s to fetch a hair tie, and Viridian, exiting the bathroom, accidentally walked into and crushed him. The two talked but were interrupted by a zombie pressing itself against the glass in the hallway. They exited the McDonald’s through the front to take care of it and spotted a few other zombies that they quickly dealt with. One of the zombies was a child, and it made them upset. Suddenly, they heard gunshots in the distance. It was foggy out, but they could see a hoard nearing. The two of them hurried inside through the back exit and informed the group.

In the city, Joshua and [Lilith] were separated due to the hoard. Joshua survived by ascending a fire escape and heading onto the roof of a building across the street from the McDonald’s.

Indecisive, [Alexander] left, saying he would go scout the hoard from a nearby building and signal back later.

The group started to discuss how to deal with the hoard, and Itsuki said something that pissed Scarlett off. The Russian grabbed Itsuki and pinned her against the wall in a chokehold and Irwin had to intervene to diffuse the situation. He decided the group would split into two teams. Kaiko, Viridian, and Itsuki were assigned to sneaking through the hoard and across the street to shoot at it from above, and Scarlett, Nickson, and Autumn were assigned to shooting at the hoard from the ground in front of the McDonald’s.

Inside the hoard and unbeknownst to the group, Kiara and Rodin ‘danced’ around as they slaughtered the zombies.

Upon reaching the fire escape and ascending to the roof, Kaiko, Viridian and Itsuki met Joshua. They observed the hoard for a while from up there, commenting on how the glowing ‘M’ resembled a beacon of hope.

On the ground, Nickson punched Autumn in the face. Then, Nickson shot and grazed Lilian who was inside the hoard. Scarlett just watched.

The hoard had decidedly been dealt with.

- three days later -

On the roof of the McDonald’s, Irwin and Noelia spotted Topher wandering around the perimeter. Lilian, who was keeping watch just below, was instructed to get the stranger’s attention. After determining Topher wasn’t a threat, Lilian led him inside the McDonald’s to chat in one of the booths.

Viridian was painting something using watercolors, but got embarrassed over it when Kaiko approached him. Then, Itsuki and Noelia sat down at the booth, so Viridian and Kaiko dipped to get some water. Crowds weren’t either of their things. In the booth, Itsuki and Noelia reminisced on their outlook on life. Somehow, Viridian had managed to mess up his painting and Noelia apologized over it, though it wasn’t her fault.

Irwin clapped to get the group’s attention and requested people volunteer to go on the second supply run. He originally planned to tag along, but decided to stay at the McDonald’s after Noelia, Lilian, Topher, and Devika all volunteered. ((aka, i was too lazy to make him go smh.))

The people on the supply run seemed to split up a bit. Lilian and Topher ran into Kiara and managed to gather many supplies, then they returned to the McDonald’s. Similarly, Noelia ran into Raegan, and the two of them bickered before racing each other. They were interrupted by the undead, but managed to escape by crumbling a pillar to create a diversion.

On her own, Itsuki left the McDonald’s to explore the city and mark down places on her map. While transversing the area, she ran into a sizable hoard but managed to deal with it individually.

Inside the McDonald’s, Viridian offered a piece of paper to Kaiko and the two of them painted while discussing their thoughts. Then, they decided to venture back to the roof from a few days ago, as Kaiko wanted to add things to his map, and Viridian wanted art inspiration. Sneakily, Lilian joined the two. On the way there, they spotted [Mateo] in the distance, and discovered Lilian knew the guy. They conversed for a while, but their volume lured a few undead near that Viridian and Kaiko had to silence. Parting ways, [Mateo] headed inside the McDonald’s, and Viridian, Kaiko, and Lilian ascended the fire escape leading to the roof.

Irwin had been doing important stuff, definitely not hitting his nic. He introduced [Mateo] to Lloid, and the two chefs began to discuss plans for dinner. Realizing they needed more hands, Yuki was enslaved. Theatrically, they prepared ‘rainbow angel hair pasta,’ and in the process, accidentally used [Mateo] as one of the ingredients, explaining his sudden disappearance.

On the roof, Kaiko and Lilian chatted while Viridian napped against his backpack. As the sun began to set, Kaiko woke Viridian as Lilian raced back to the McDonald’s. Drooling, Viridian admired how the sunset in the distance backlit Kaiko and illuminated his face, and suddenly, he had a whole lot of art inspiration.

While Lloid and Yuki wrapped up the spaghetti, Lilian informed Irwin of an RV she had spotted in the city a few days ago. Stubbornly, Lilian declared she would acquire the vehicle by herself. Irwin was very convincing, however, and persuaded her to consider going with a group instead. Lilian stormed off and was replaced by Itsuki, who informed ‘Irwin leader teacher person’ of some possible building options for relocating the group. Irwin reflected on Itsuki’s out-lash against Scarlett a few days ago, but he listened to her suggestions regardless.

Finally, Lloid and Yuki finished making the rainbow spaghetti. They brought it out to the register, loudly announced the meal, and served it on styrofoam plates to whoever was hungry.

After banging her head against the bottom of her booth’s table, Autumn approached Lloid requesting a bowl. Somehow, she misinterpreted his cheerful vernacular and was incredibly offended by his words. Cursing him out, she snatched a plate and hurried to the roof to inform Azrael and Azazel of what had just occurred. Over the past few days, Autumn had been creating a cult for the redheads in the group, and green-haired Lloid on the opposite end of the color spectrum had just become their enemy. Assuming the noodles were poisoned, Autumn slammed the meal against the ground, just as Lloid came up to apologize. Crying, Lloid ran off.

Nickson and Topher chatted very briefly over the spaghetti. The two didn’t seem to get along.

Kaiko acquired two plates of the spaghetti. One for himself, and one for Viridian who was sleeping in his booth. Kaiko woke Viridian with a poke, and Viridian mentally compared the colorful noodles to psychedelic mushrooms.

- the next day -

Irwin woke everyone for a group discussion and addressed the rumors regarding relocation. He confirmed they planned to move shortly and instructed the group to begin packing up their belongings. They decided at the same time Lilian’s group was going to check out the RV, Irwin would go with another group to clear out a motel in the area.

Finally deciding who she would bring, Lilian, Topher, Yuki, and Kaiko set out to retrieve the RV. When they got there, they met Michael who gave them directions to another RV in the area. The five of them had to split up, so Michael and Kaiko drove back to the McDonald’s with the first RV, and Lilian, Topher, and Yuki went off to find the second. They ran into a few undead but managed to deal with them efficiently. The keys were missing, so Yuki had to hotwire the second RV. She third-wheeled the entire ride back, and Lilian and Topher did a smooch.

Back at the McDonald’s, Irwin and Deloise ran into Kaiko and Michael at the door. Irwin didn’t approve of Kaiko letting the younger three wander off without a fighter, but he let it go because Kaiko looked very uncomfortable by Michael’s presence.

Irwin, Deloise, Pierce, and Rodin geared up and ventured off to clear out the motel the group planned to move to. The walk there was disappointingly quiet and uneventful.

Kaiko then went to the roof to smoke, but before he could even light his cigarette, Nickson came up to voice his disagreement with drugs. Kaiko and Nickson got into a fight, and Lloid and Viridian came up the stairs to offer them macaroni because they had made some for breakfast. Nickson unintentionally elbowed Lloid in the face and broke his nose. Crying, Lloid left to retrieve Azrael, a medic. Nickson disappeared only to return with his machete and the intent to kill. Threatened, Viridian threw the bowl of macaroni at Nickson, and in response, Nickson threw his machete at Viridian. Coming up the stairs with Azrael, Lloid slipped on the macaroni and tumbled all the way down the stairs. Viridian asked Kaiko what had caused the fight, and misinterpreted his response. So, Nickson tackled Viridian down the stairs. Then, Yuki, another medic, came over and freed Lloid from the pile at the bottom. Viridian got up and left to relocate his shoulder. Azrael yelled at Nickson and Kaiko and brought them to the medic’s booth for Yuki to patch them up.

Meanwhile, in the bathroom, Lilian distressed over the sink no longer working. Itsuki came to check on her, and the two got in a vocal disagreement over what their priorities should be during the apocalypse. Then, they discussed board games.

At the motel, Irwin, Deloise, Pierce, and Rodin decided to split up. Irwin and Deloise snuck around the back and slipped into one of the rooms where they met Saiyr. The newcomer threatened them, but Irwin wasn’t in the mood. Saiyr joined their group, and the five of them cleared out the rooms.

- a few hours later -

Irwin, Deloise, Pierce, Rodin, and Saiyr returned to the McDonald’s. Kaiko met Irwin at the door and asked if he could speak to him in private where he informed him about the fight. Irwin had an asthma attack in response and scared Kaiko.

- half a week later -

the group is currently settling into their apartments and shiiit.
