I have been battling with sex addiction for the last 7 years, I have started many broken and failed relationships in the process, I started all relationships with a view of having sex with the woman, and if the sex is good I keep her for a while then somehow the relationships dies, because it loses its flicker. My addiction has brought me so much trouble, am in financial debt, am living with shame, no sense of identity, very low self esteem, I suffer from depression time to time, battling suicidal thoughts and many other ills, despite being a manager in a technology company. So over the last two years there is this girl have been having sex with and I think she can be an inspiration to my children she is a lawyer, I have very little emotional connection with her, but I do like her and familiarity with her makes me enjoy her company, but she loves me a-lot and she is an amazing women. Am now starting to work on my recovery, so I can achieve sobriety. My question is should I leave her and focus on recovery or work with her in this process and only consider sobriety as having sex with only her. Am I being selfish in keeping her around while I work on my sex addiction? would having relationship while working sex addiction be a challenge. Am planning on leaving the other girls am having sex with because there is really nothing much with them.
