Hello,
My name is Ana and im a student at "Singidunum" university in Belgrade and i'll be telling you how online classes have been changing my life for the past two months.
First off online classes we have here at my unviersity were meant to support students that due to their work schedule couldn't attend class.In my opinion this is such a good
way to help people catch up with lectures and see what the professor had to say about various topics.But who would of thought that online classes will become our normal way of learning?
A sudden pandemic spread all around the world and we've been advised to stay home in order to stop the virus from spreading.Yes we are living in such bizzare times where we need to
forget to our "former" day to day activites and put a "pause" button on almost everything!
Lucky for us this is where virtual comes to play!It seems my academic life just changed the scenery from real life to google meet!And it's not so bad,
in the morning i no longer need to rush,put my makeup on,do my hair,run after the bus no more of that.I just wake up turn on my computer check the
meet link and im there.The best part is noone even knows im in my pajamas.I really don't mind online class, i save up in travel time and really don't miss
any lectures.Don't really know if i have good professors or i don't know what but im not missing any lectures!Also, you know how sometimes you have daily class for hours
between different subjects it can get tiring.Not today, sitting home in my favourite chair and sipping coffee now that really is a relaxing way of studying.
Even though this way of attending school is easier,we are humans we need to cummunicate more.Not seeing your class colleagues and professors is really weird.
I know i've said doing school from home is comfy but even though i won't accept it i need more activity in my life!Asking questions,communicating with the lecturer
is what we all need to better understand what we are studying.Internet simply doesn't have that same engagement.
I must thank my unviersity(all the professors and other staff) for such fast and professional way of dealing with the pandemic.It's been great learning from
home but i can't wait to get back to the REAL class.
