dear best friend,
i remember back in elementary school when we'd go outside on the playground, sometimes on the hill, or by the back wall near the beyblade battle table, and we'd pretend to be vampires. when we were in third grade and we would use the stairs to show
when we were in our vampire world. i remember my birthday party where everyone at the sleepover snuck in and out of the kitchen for candy, making sure the adults didnt hear us. or when we went to goo crek together and you hid from annoying lil ducas. when we stuck together through our drama with two certain people. you've always had my back and i try my best to have yours too. you have been my best friend for as long as i can remember, over half my life and we're not stopping anytime soon. you've been with me through thick and thin and sometimes its like we're siblings. i remember back in the IC when kids asked us if we were sisters. we would laugh and say we look nothing alike and that's true but i'll be damned if there was anyone else i'd want to be mistaken as my sister.
we were with each other when we realized we weren't straight, and we supported each other unconditionally. i hope we will continue to be with each other, because i love having you as my friend. throughout my life you've been one of the constants. my family treats you as their own, especially nana. we've gone through rough patches together but we dragged each other out. i couldn't wish for a better person to be in my life. you're one of the most amazing, caring, funny, and intelligent people i know, even if we always joke about being dumb. i can't wait for us to be able to drive because you best know that we're going on roadtrips together. we've grown up together, known each other for about 8 years, and been friends for 7 of them. i'm glad i picked your name during the friendship circle. i don't know who, or where, i would be without you. after all, ravenclaws and hufflepuffs are just about the best combo if you ask me. ily ash, no homo :)
