Modification suggestion:
a) when user chooses GUEST option we flag the account as being a guest
b) when we validate email address usage we ignore anyone flagged as guest
this would require modification of validation on any form that allows entry of an email address
also we would need to modify the password reset process so that it would ignore guest accounts and send out the reset link for the non-guest account if email address is shared.
